Are you a detail-oriented Engineering professional with a passion for manufacturing excellence? Winway Interconnect Technology (M) is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our Box Build operations, ensuring that complex electro-mechanical assemblies meet our rigorous quality standards and delivery timelines.
As our Project Engineer, you will bridge the gap between design and production. You will lead the transition of new products into the manufacturing floor, optimize assembly processes, and serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage end-to-end Box Build projects from new product introduction (NPI) to mass production.
- Develop and maintain detailed assembly instructions, BOMs, and process documentation for electro-mechanical products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Procurement, and Production to resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Conduct time and motion studies to optimize line efficiency and reduce production cycle times.
- Manage engineering change orders (ECOs) and ensure seamless implementation on the production floor.
- Perform root cause analysis for any assembly defects and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with international quality standards and safety regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically within Box Build or electro-mechanical assembly.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MS Office Suite.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
