Larico Construction Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic team in Sipitang, Sabah. This is a critical role for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact on infrastructure and construction projects within the region.
As a Project Engineer, you will be the backbone of our site operations, ensuring that engineering standards are upheld, timelines are met, and safety protocols are strictly followed. You will work closely with project managers, sub-contractors, and clients to translate complex blueprints into physical realities. Tanggung Jawab
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily site activities to ensure work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all construction works comply with engineering drawings, building codes, and safety/environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and site personnel to ensure optimal resource allocation and material usage.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, technical documentation, and site meeting minutes for management review.
- Manage quality control processes and conduct site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Solve technical challenges on-site through coordination with consultants and internal design teams.
- Ensure a safe working environment by strictly enforcing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) policies.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field recognized by BEM.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD) and MS Office suite.
- Strong understanding of local building standards, construction sequences, and structural integrity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead site teams and liaise with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Valid driving license and willingness to be based in Sipitang, Sabah.
- Proven track record in managing project costs and site documentation.
