As a key member of the project team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex civil and structural works. You will be responsible for overseeing all site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, managing technical submissions, and ensuring strict compliance with the highest standards of quality, safety, and timelines. This role demands an experienced engineer with a recognized degree in Civil Engineering and a solid, proven background in large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically those under the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
We are looking for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and possesses excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Managing subcontractor performance, conducting site inspections, and ensuring method statements align with project specifications will be part of your daily routine. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and oversee all civil and structural works for the LTA project to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and construction schedule.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors’ site activities, ensuring strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and LTA standards.
- Prepare, review, and submit technical documents, method statements, shop drawings, and material samples for approval by the relevant authorities.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on technical matters, project progress, and site coordination.
- Monitor project costs, resources, and program schedule, and prepare detailed progress reports for the Project Manager.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance audits, proactively resolving any technical issues or discrepancies on site.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of work activities to achieve critical project milestones and tight deadlines.
- Ensure all construction works are executed in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and the company’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically on LTA/MRT projects in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of LTA standards, contractual requirements, and submission procedures.
- Proficient in project management software, AutoCAD, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, solve problems effectively, and handle multiple tasks under demanding timelines.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and its application on construction sites.
