We are currently seeking a passionate and results-oriented Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our Land Systems division. Based in our Ang Mo Kio hub, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, integration, and testing of sophisticated electrical systems and sub-systems purpose-built for advanced military applications. This includes working on complex platforms such as armoured vehicles, communication systems, and defence electronics.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of technical projects from inception through to production and support. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and sub-systems for military platforms, including power distribution, control systems, and electronic interfaces.
- Manage engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including electrical schematics, design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Conduct system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure designs meet stringent performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, systems, software, and production) to ensure seamless system integration and manufacturability.
- Perform feasibility studies, trade-off analyses, and risk assessments for new designs and system modifications.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies to support design reviews, technical clarifications, and procurement activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project engineering, preferably within the defence, aerospace, or heavy equipment sectors.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, including analogue/digital circuits, power electronics, and control systems.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or SolidWorks Electrical, and simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance as required by the role (Singapore Citizenship or Permanent Residency preferred).
