Our client is a well-established MNC and a leading provider of power protection solutions and engineering services. With a strong presence in Singapore, they specialize in mission-critical power infrastructure, serving data centers, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer / Manager to join their dynamic team in Tampines.
The Role:
As a Project Engineer / Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the full project lifecycle of power protection systems. Your primary focus will be on Diesel Generators, High Voltage (HV) Electrical systems, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) installations. You will lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Overview:
You will take ownership of project deliverables from initial design and engineering through to testing, commissioning, and handover. This involves detailed project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking. You will act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring seamless communication and swift resolution of any technical challenges that arise on site. Your role is critical in ensuring the successful implementation of mission-critical power infrastructure.

The Ideal Candidate:
You bring a strong foundation in electrical engineering and project management. You have a deep understanding of high-voltage switchgears, generator synchronization schemes, and static/dynamic UPS technologies. Your experience in managing M&E projects, particularly in the power protection or data center space, will be highly valued. You are a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of driving projects to successful completion while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for power protection systems (Diesel, HV, UPS) from design to commissioning.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepare project budgets, schedules, and progress reports for management and clients.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of high voltage electrical equipment and generators.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and Singapore authority standards (LTA, PUB, SCDF).
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage contract variations.
- Review engineering designs and technical specifications for compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in project engineering within power protection or M&E sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of Diesel Generators, HV Switchgears, and UPS systems.
- Experience with SCADA and control systems is an advantage.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work 5.5 days and respond to site emergencies when required.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
