We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join a leading industrial firm in Tuas, specializing in advanced Powder Injection Molding (PIM). As a Project Engineer, you will bridge the gap between client requirements and production capabilities, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing molding processes and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative manufacturing solutions for complex components.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage end-to-end engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications.
- Oversee the Powder Injection Molding (PIM) process, including material selection, debinding, and sintering phases.
- Coordinate with tool designers and manufacturers to optimize mold designs for manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical support for new product introductions (NPI).
- Troubleshoot production issues related to injection molding and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Liaise with clients to understand technical requirements and provide regular project status updates.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to establish inspection standards and maintain high-yield production.
- Monitor project budgets and resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency and cost control.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in an injection molding environment.
- Specific technical knowledge of Powder Injection Molding (PIM) or Metal Injection Molding (MIM) is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of mold design principles and precision manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or AutoCAD) for design review and modification.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced industrial setting.
