Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and manage genomics research projects from planning through execution and delivery
- Perform computational biology analyses including genomic data processing, sequence alignment, and variant calling
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for large-scale genomic datasets
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary research teams to integrate computational approaches with experimental biology
- Prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders
- Maintain laboratory databases and ensure data quality, integrity, and reproducibility
- Support grant applications and contribute to research publications
- Mentor junior research staff and coordinate research assistants as required
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Genomics, or related life sciences field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl for biological data analysis
- Experience with genomics tools and databases (BLAST, UCSC Genome Browser, Ensembl, etc.)
- Strong understanding of molecular biology principles and genomic technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based research environment
- Prior research experience in academic or industry settings is advantageous
