Join Marcopolo Shipyard as a Project Quality Lead / QA/QC Engineer and lead our commitment to excellence in shipbuilding. This pivotal role involves supervising all quality control activities across our shipyard operations, ensuring strict compliance with international Class standards and project specifications. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections at critical construction phases, identifying non-conformities, and implementing robust corrective actions to maintain impeccable quality benchmarks. As a key liaison between technical teams, clients, and third-party inspectors, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring staff on best practices. Fluency in English is essential for documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate all quality control activities across shipyard operations
- Ensure compliance with Class society standards (ABS, DNV, etc.) and project specifications
- Lead technical inspections during hull fabrication, outfitting, and pre-delivery phases
- Investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports and NCRs
- Train and mentor quality control staff on inspection techniques and standards
- Liaise with clients, surveyors, and suppliers to resolve quality discrepancies
- Implement and improve quality management systems (QMS) and processes
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of shipbuilding or heavy industry QA/QC experience
- Proven track record in leading quality control teams and projects
- Deep knowledge of Class rules and international quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.)
- Professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQA, Six Sigma) preferred
- Strong analytical skills for defect investigation and resolution
- Experience with shipyard production processes and marine regulations
