Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is seeking a proactive and technically proficient Project Specialist, Facilities Management & AV System to join our dynamic Campus Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the lifecycle of our campus audio-visual systems and facilities, ensuring a world-class learning and teaching environment for our students and faculty.
As a key technical contributor, you will bridge the gap between facility infrastructure and advanced educational technologies. You will oversee campus space upgrades, lead vendor collaborations, and maintain high-performing AV environments across lecture theatres, smart classrooms, and collaborative spaces. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage campus facilities projects, with a primary focus on Audio-Visual (AV) system upgrades and integrations.
- Oversee the end-to-end deployment of AV systems, ensuring alignment with academic requirements and technology standards.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for campus AV equipment, smart boards, and control systems.
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate technical requirements for university events, hybrid learning setups, and conferences.
- Manage external vendors, contractors, and service providers, monitoring SLAs and project deliverables.
- Prepare technical specifications, evaluate tender proposals, and manage project budgets efficiently.
- Enforce strict compliance with local workplace safety, health, and building regulations during project executions.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Audio-Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in AV systems integration and facilities project management.
- Proficiency with modern AV control systems (such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX) and unified communications (Zoom, MS Teams).
- Strong vendor management skills with experience handling public tenders and procurement processes in Singapore.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues within AV systems.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
