PT Kalimantan Aluminium Industry is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Officer (Mandarin Speaker) to join our dynamic team in Bulungan, Kalimantan Utara. As we continue to develop our world-class aluminium smelter project, effective communication between our international experts and local workforce is critical to our success.
In this role, you will act as a vital bridge, ensuring seamless operations through precise language translation and comprehensive administrative support. You will be instrumental in facilitating daily interactions, documenting project progress, and ensuring that technical directives are understood and implemented across all teams. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Indonesia's most significant industrial developments.
Tanggung Jawab
- Serve as a primary Mandarin-Indonesian translator for management, technical staff, and local contractors.
- Facilitate daily toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and technical discussions to ensure clear communication.
- Translate essential project documentation, reports, and manuals from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa.
- Assist project managers in tracking project timelines, milestones, and administrative workflows.
- Act as a cultural and linguistic liaison to foster collaboration between the expat team and local personnel.
- Monitor site progress and provide summary reports to the project leadership team.
- Handle project correspondence to ensure stakeholders remain informed and aligned with site objectives.
Kualifikasi
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the construction, mining, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to remote site locations.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
