SWM Environment Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Protégé - Executive GIS in Johor Bahru. This program is designed to provide you with hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional growth in the environmental services industry.
As a GIS Protégé, you will play a vital role in our GIS Department, assisting in the spatial analysis, data collection, and mapping projects that support our operational efficiency and environmental sustainability initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application while working alongside industry experts.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the collection, management, and maintenance of spatial data for environmental operations.
- Support the GIS team in performing spatial analyses to identify trends and improve routing efficiency.
- Utilize GIS software to update and maintain digital maps and spatial databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide mapping solutions for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct field data verification and validation to ensure accuracy of geographical records.
- Participate in technical training and workshops to enhance competency in GIS tools and technologies.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations based on spatial data analysis.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics, Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in GIS are encouraged to apply (Protégé program).
- Basic knowledge of GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good command of written and spoken Malay and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is highly advantageous.
