Are you a fresh graduate ready to kickstart your career in the infrastructure sector? PLUS Malaysia Berhad is seeking a dedicated PROTEGE Trainee to join our Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying team.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a leading highway concessionaire. The one-year PROTEGE traineeship is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and professional practice. You will work alongside experienced engineers and surveyors, contributing to real-world infrastructure projects that keep the nation moving.
As a trainee, you will be exposed to the full lifecycle of highway development, including planning, construction supervision, and cost management. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in site supervision and quality control inspections for highway construction projects.
- Perform quantity surveys, measurements, and cost estimation for materials and works.
- Review and prepare contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating quotations and comparing prices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
- Must be a fresh graduate or have up to 1 year of working experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to be stationed at project sites in Petaling Jaya and surrounding areas.
