We are looking for a creative and hands-on Proto-Driven Product Designer to join our team in Jakarta.
In this role, you will be the bridge between conceptual sketches and tangible reality. Your mission is to design innovative baby products that not only support developmental milestones but also integrate seamlessly into the busy lives of modern families. We value rapid iteration and the ability to turn abstract ideas into functional prototypes that can be tested, refined, and perfected. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop end-to-end product concepts, from initial sketching and brainstorming to final 3D modeling.
- Create rapid prototypes using various materials to test functionality, ergonomics, and safety standards.
- Conduct user research and field testing to ensure designs meet the needs of infants and the expectations of parents.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback from prototype testing and quality control assessments.
- Maintain a high standard of aesthetic appeal and brand consistency across all product lines.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, material innovations, and safety regulations in the baby product sector.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related creative field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in product design, ideally within the juvenile, furniture, or consumer goods industry.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360) and rendering tools (e.g., Keyshot).
- Strong sketching and visualization skills to communicate concepts effectively.
- Hands-on experience in model making, 3D printing, and workshop machinery.
- Deep understanding of ergonomics, safety standards, and child-appropriate material selection.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design intent to non-design stakeholders.
- Portfolio showcasing a strong process of prototyping and problem-solving.
