Psychologist (Contract, Scam Programme Evaluation & Research)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement research studies to evaluate the effectiveness of current scam intervention programmes.
• Conduct psychological assessments and risk evaluations for individuals affected by scam-related trauma.
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risk factors, and protective factors related to scam victimisation.
• Prepare detailed research reports, policy briefs, and publications based on empirical findings.
• Develop and deliver trauma-informed training modules for front-line professionals and law enforcement.
• Provide clinical consultation to case managers dealing with complex psychological trauma cases.
• Ensure all activities adhere to the highest ethical standards and data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across government agencies to translate research into actionable strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master's or PhD in Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology.
• Full registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and SRP eligibility.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-graduate experience in a clinical or research setting.
• Expertise in quantitative research methods and statistical analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS).
• Proven experience in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of victimology, cyber psychology, or scam behaviours is highly desirable.
• Singapore Citizen or PR preferred.
