Macbuild Construction Pte Ltd is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our dynamic procurement team in Bukit Merah. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring that all construction materials and services are sourced timely, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Purchaser, you will collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to manage supply chain workflows, negotiate with vendors, and optimize inventory levels. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and possesses excellent analytical and communication skills to drive value for our ongoing projects.
Tanggung Jawab
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and documentation in the company ERP system.
- Monitor market trends and identify potential cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to minimize project downtime.
- Manage vendor relationships, including regular performance evaluation and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and procurement software/ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and cost management.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
