GFZ International is a prominent player in the aluminium & glass façade industry, and we are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team in Balakong, Selangor. In this role, you will be a crucial link in our supply chain, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials necessary for our construction projects. Your primary focus will be supporting the procurement department by managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to meet project deadlines. Tanggung Jawab
- Process and verify purchase orders (POs) accurately, ensuring all details align with project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining up-to-date stock records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation for logistics and customs clearance.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and project teams to understand material specifications and requirements.
- Track incoming shipments and ensure materials are received in good condition.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control.
- Familiarity with the aluminium, steel, or glass façade industry is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build positive relationships with external vendors.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
