Wei Yuan Construction Management Inc is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team in Manila City. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the procurement and supply chain operations for our diverse portfolio of construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site engineers, and external vendors to ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and services are secured efficiently, on time, and within budget guidelines.
As an integral member of our procurement team, you will assist in streamlining our purchasing workflows, maintaining accurate inventory records, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation of prices with suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials and services.
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in compliance with company policies and project specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any issues related to shipment delays, damaged goods, or incorrect orders.
- Maintain and update purchasing databases, vendor lists, pricing records, and inventory logs.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to verify invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and facilitate timely payments.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels at construction sites to proactively anticipate supply shortages and minimize project downtime.
- Assist in preparing cost estimation, procurement reports, and budget analysis for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 to 2 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or logistics, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, supply chain processes, and basic vendor negotiation strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience using procurement or ERP software.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to build relationships with external suppliers.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team.
