Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain and procurement? Q.C. Styropackaging Corporation is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to join our growing team in Quezon City. As a key player in our operations, you will be responsible for streamlining our procurement processes, maintaining inventory efficiency, and building strong relationships with our valued suppliers.
In this role, you will play a critical part in the manufacturing lifecycle, ensuring that high-quality materials are sourced on time and within budget. We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses the analytical skills necessary to maintain our competitive edge in the packaging industry.
Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate with suppliers to process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to prevent stockouts.
- Conduct regular price benchmarking to ensure cost-efficiency and negotiate better terms with vendors.
- Prepare and update procurement reports, logs, and purchase order tracking sheets.
- Perform administrative tasks such as documentation, filing, and managing vendor invoices.
- Resolve discrepancies regarding quantity, quality, or pricing with suppliers.
- Assist in the evaluation of new suppliers and maintain an updated vendor database.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and inventory management software.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
