We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team in Melaka as a Purchasing (Assistant/Manager Level) specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in our supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless procurement of materials and services required for our manufacturing and logistics activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vendor relationship management, strategic sourcing, and cost optimization to drive operational efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and placing orders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Analyze market trends and supply chain data to optimize procurement costs and minimize lead times.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production/logistics departments to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance reports.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Resolve supply chain issues, such as delivery delays or quality non-conformances, promptly and effectively.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost reduction.
- Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to handle multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in Melaka.
