Top E-Panel is currently seeking a highly organized Purchasing Clerk to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our procurement operations, ensuring that our production lines remain fully stocked and our material sourcing is both cost-effective and timely.
As our Purchasing Clerk, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing lifecycle, bridging the gap between vendor management and internal inventory availability. Tanggung Jawab
- Issue accurate Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with production schedules and material requirements.
- Source and identify reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality of direct materials.
- Monitor and verify stock availability regularly to prevent production downtime.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery and accurate receiving of incoming goods.
- Maintain comprehensive records of procurement transactions, supplier agreements, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve discrepancies regarding invoices, material quality, or delivery delays with vendors.
- Prepare periodic procurement reports for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or inventory control role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a focus on cost-reduction.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high integrity in handling vendor communications.
