We are dedicated to delivering high-quality infrastructure and building projects, and we are seeking a talented and experienced Purchasing cum Contract Executive to join our operations team.
In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind our procurement and contract management strategies. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of purchasing activities, from identifying reliable suppliers and negotiating favorable terms to drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts. Your primary goal will be to deliver significant cost savings while ensuring the timely availability of high-quality materials and services that meet our stringent project requirements.
As a key liaison between our project, finance, and legal departments, you will ensure all procurement activities align with company policies, budgetary constraints, and legal standards. You will conduct thorough market research, evaluate supplier performance, and foster strong partnerships to build a resilient and competitive supply chain. Your ability to manage multiple tenders, resolve contractual disputes, and implement best practices in procurement will be essential to your success.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full spectrum of procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, and expediting of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts and purchase orders to ensure optimal terms, pricing, and compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive bid evaluations, tender analysis, and supplier negotiations to achieve the best total cost of ownership.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier database, evaluate vendor performance, and manage strategic supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to forecast material requirements and align procurement schedules with construction milestones.
- Ensure strict adherence to company procurement policies, ISO standards, and relevant legal regulations.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising on quality or delivery timelines.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, budget variances, and contract status for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in purchasing and contract management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, local market conditions, and supplier networks in Perak.
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
