Oriental Fastech Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Executive to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process for raw materials, components, and machinery, specifically focusing on sheet metal and machining operations. You will act as the bridge between internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring that materials are delivered on time to meet production targets. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Customer Service (CS) department to coordinate material requirements and resolve any logistical discrepancies. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle, from sourcing new suppliers to issuing and tracking purchase orders.
- Evaluate and select reliable suppliers for sheet metal, machining parts, and general manufacturing materials.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Coordinate directly with the Customer Service team to align material availability with production schedules and customer demands.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and supplier performance.
- Monitor supplier quality and address any delivery delays or material defects immediately.
- Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and cost-saving initiatives.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal and machining processes is highly preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
