Winstar Aluminium Manufacturing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. This is an excellent opportunity to join a established aluminium manufacturing company and play a pivotal role in optimizing our supply chain operations.
As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. You will develop and implement strategic procurement plans, negotiate with suppliers, and manage the entire purchasing lifecycle from sourcing to delivery.
This role requires a results-driven professional who can balance cost optimization with quality assurance while maintaining strong supplier relationships. You will collaborate closely with production, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless material flow and support business growth objectives.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and production requirements
- Manage end-to-end purchasing processes including sourcing, RFQ, vendor selection, and contract negotiation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure timely material availability
- Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals
- Prepare reports on procurement performance, costs, and supplier metrics for management review
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and procurement software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Experience in working with aluminium or metal manufacturing industries is an added advantage
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
