Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the hotel's procurement department, overseeing all purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and service level agreements with vendors to achieve the best possible pricing without compromising on quality.
- Collaborate with Department Heads to forecast requirements and manage inventory levels effectively.
- Maintain and update the approved supplier list, conducting regular audits and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with IHG procurement policies, financial controls, and local government regulations.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to mitigate risks and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities.
- Oversee the receiving and storage processes to minimize waste and ensure proper inventory rotation.
- Implement sustainable sourcing initiatives in alignment with the hotel's corporate social responsibility goals.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, ideally within the 4-star or 5-star hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
- Strong proficiency in procurement software (e.g., Birchstreet, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Deep understanding of local Malaysian market dynamics and supply chain logistics in the Penang region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity and professional ethics in managing vendor relationships.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
