Just Energy is a forward-thinking organization committed to excellence in our industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Purchasing Officer to join our team in Seremban. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our procurement activities, ensuring that we maintain optimal inventory levels and secure high-quality materials at competitive prices. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and develop effective sourcing strategies. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle, from identifying requirements to supplier delivery.
- Solicit, negotiate, and manage contracts with reliable suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends and price fluctuations to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve procurement-related issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and update supplier databases and records for performance tracking.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with regulatory and safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and logistics operations is highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
