- Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors to meet operational and production needs.
- Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules to ensure the best value for the company.
- Process purchase requisitions and issue official purchase orders (POs) accurately and timely.
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any shipment or quality discrepancies.
- Maintain comprehensive and updated records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance data.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and inventory teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Evaluate supplier performance periodically and recommend improvements or alternative sourcing strategies.
- Stay updated on market trends and price fluctuations affecting the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving significant cost savings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective supplier and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with ERP or procurement software.
- High level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential financial and contract information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail.
- Must be willing to work on-site at our Iloilo City location.
