Shijiru Sdn Bhd is currently seeking a highly motivated Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As a key player in our manufacturing and logistics operations, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships to ensure the seamless flow of materials.
We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who excels under pressure. You will be expected to handle multiple procurement tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Fluency in Mandarin is essential to effectively bridge communication gaps with our overseas suppliers. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, RFQ issuance, and vendor selection.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers in Mandarin to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Monitor and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
- Collaborate with internal departments to anticipate inventory needs and avoid stock-outs.
- Conduct regular market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Maintain and update accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
- Resolve any discrepancies in invoices, delivery notes, or quality issues with vendors promptly.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build sustainable vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/inventory management software.
- Strong analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
