Samando is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing/Procurement Specialist specializing in industrial spare parts to join our dynamic team in Gresik, Jawa Timur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless acquisition of technical components and spare parts essential for our ongoing operations. You will play a key part in optimizing our supply chain, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy. Your expertise will ensure that our machinery and technical systems experience minimal downtime due to part availability.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in technical procurement and understands the complexities of shipping and logistics within the manufacturing sector. As part of the Samando team, you will work in a fast-paced environment where your ability to negotiate effectively and manage Request for Quotations (RFQ) will directly impact the company's operational efficiency and bottom line. You will be expected to collaborate closely with the engineering and maintenance departments to identify specific part requirements and source the best quality materials at the most competitive prices.
Beyond simple purchasing, this role involves strategic inventory management and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements related to technical equipment. You will handle the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle, from initial sourcing to final delivery and payment processing. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end Request for Quotation (RFQ) process, ensuring technical specifications for spare parts are accurately communicated to vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Execute and manage Purchase Orders (PO) through the internal ERP system, tracking orders from placement to delivery.
- Oversee inventory management for spare parts, ensuring optimal stock levels and identifying slow-moving or obsolete items.
- Coordinate with shipping and logistics providers to ensure timely arrival of domestic and international shipments.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to forecast part requirements and minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards for all purchased equipment and components.
- Maintain and update a database of approved vendors, evaluating their performance based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, specifically within an industrial or manufacturing environment focusing on spare parts.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Strong understanding of shipping, logistics, and customs procedures for technical components.
- Proficiency in using ERP software (such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Fluency in Indonesian and a good command of English for technical documentation and vendor communication.
- Must be based in or willing to work in the Gresik, Jawa Timur area.
