- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers that meet the company's quality and pricing standards.
- Negotiate contracts, credit terms, and pricing agreements to maximize cost-efficiency and ensure favorable supply conditions.
- Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with the engineering and production teams to ensure all procured equipment meets exact technical specifications.
- Track and report on order statuses, managing any delays or discrepancies in shipments to minimize project downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records, including pricing histories, vendor performance metrics, and inventory logs.
- Collaborate with the finance department to verify invoices and ensure prompt payment to suppliers.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential new sources of supply and cost-saving opportunities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related technical field.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or Procurement Officer, preferably in manufacturing or industrial controls.
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel, and experience with ERP/Inventory management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective vendor management and internal reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical diagrams or specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on budget optimization.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple procurement pipelines simultaneously.
