As a Purchasing Specialist, you will be the backbone of our vendor relations and inventory management strategy. You will be responsible for end-to-end purchasing activitiesâfrom issuing purchase orders to monitoring delivery schedules and resolving supply chain discrepancies. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition verification, purchase order generation, and tracking.
- Coordinate with global and local suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services according to agreed-upon SLAs.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal stakeholders to prevent stockouts while optimizing carrying costs.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and update ERP systems in real-time for audit readiness.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues in coordination with the Accounts Payable department.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the purchasing workflow.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain professional vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa Melayu to facilitate cross-functional communication.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and fast-paced global company environment.
