- Conduct thorough market research to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Analyze current stock levels, inventory reports, and project plans to accurately forecast purchasing requirements.
- Review and process purchase orders to ensure all details align with specifications and company policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand specific project needs and material specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance to guarantee timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, invoices, and supplier communications.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control strategies to minimize waste and optimize stock.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar role within the manufacturing or transport industry.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain processes.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build positive vendor relationships.
- Proficient in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement software is an added advantage.
