Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for the culinary industry? Arabian Knight Restaurant in the heart of Ubud is seeking a dedicated Purchasing Staff (F&B) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our high standards by ensuring the consistent supply of top-quality food and beverage ingredients while optimizing procurement costs.
As our Purchasing representative, you will bridge the gap between our kitchen operations and our trusted local vendors. We are looking for someone who excels in negotiation, inventory tracking, and quality control, ensuring that our kitchen is always prepared to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Tanggung Jawab
- Sourcing and procuring high-quality food, beverage, and operational supplies for the restaurant.
- Conducting market research and price analysis to ensure competitive pricing and cost-effective procurement.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with reliable local suppliers and vendors.
- Monitoring inventory levels and managing purchase orders to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Ensuring all received goods meet strict food safety, quality, and freshness standards.
- Coordinating with the kitchen team to understand daily requirements and seasonal menu changes.
- Handling administrative tasks, including data entry for invoices, tracking procurement expenses, and preparing monthly reports.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum High School Diploma or Vocational Degree in Hospitality, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in F&B procurement, purchasing, or back-of-house restaurant operations.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) for inventory and budget tracking.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and ingredient quality assessment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in Indonesian; proficiency in English is a significant advantage.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ubud, Bali.
