Are you a skilled procurement professional with a talent for bridging communication gaps? Aice Philippines Ice Cream Inc, a leading manufacturer in the ice cream industry, is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor (Mandarin-Speaking) to oversee and optimize our procurement and supply chain operations. Based in Lipa City, Batangas, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials, supporting production schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with our Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end purchasing process, from identifying reliable suppliers to negotiating favorable terms and monitoring delivery performance. You will coordinate closely with production planning teams to align procurement with manufacturing demands, manage inventory levels, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Your bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English will be essential for facilitating clear communication, translating documents, and resolving issues with suppliers.
We are looking for a candidate who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field, along with proven experience in purchasing, ideally in manufacturing or FMCG, is required. Strong negotiation skills and familiarity with ERP systems are highly valued.

- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, packaging, and supplies to meet production and quality requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance.
- Collaborate with production planning to align purchasing schedules with manufacturing timelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess while avoiding stockouts.
- Prepare and present purchasing reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, both local and international, to diversify and strengthen the supply chain.
- Facilitate communication between Mandarin-speaking partners and internal teams, acting as translator when necessary.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven negotiation abilities and experience in supplier management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
