As the QA Director, you will be the strategic architect of our quality ecosystem. Tanggung Jawab
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with corporate business objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet local and international standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.
- Process Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to enhance process control and reduce waste.
- Team Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QA and QC team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Supplier Quality Management: Partner with procurement and engineering to audit and develop suppliers, ensuring strict adherence to quality specifications.
- Customer Focus: Act as the executive point of contact for quality-related customer concerns, driving rapid root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Metrics & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor quality performance, presenting regular strategic reports to top management.
- Quality Systems: Oversee the maintenance, audit, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance within the manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading and developing large, cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with a strong data-driven approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.
- Willing and able to be based full-time in Bayan Lepas, Penang.
