Loh & Loh Construction, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer (Civil) to join our expanding team in the West Region. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for structural integrity and operational excellence across landmark projects, including complex civil, structural, and specialized pharmaceutical facilities.
As a QA/QC Engineer, you will serve as the gatekeeper of quality on-site, ensuring that every project component meets rigorous safety and technical specifications. You will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to mitigate risks, drive continuous improvement, and ensure strict compliance with international standards and local building codes.

Tanggung Jawab
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in alignment with corporate standards and client requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure construction activities comply with structural drawings and technical specifications.
- Manage the inspection and testing process for all incoming materials and site installations, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Liaise with external consultants, clients, and relevant authorities to resolve quality-related discrepancies and secure necessary approvals.
- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection checklists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and handover documents.
- Identify potential risks in construction methodologies and propose proactive solutions to prevent defects.
- Facilitate the timely closure of punch lists and defect rectification works.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the construction industry, ideally in civil or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of ISO quality management systems and local Singapore construction codes (BCA/LTA standards).
- Proficient in interpreting structural drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure construction site environments.
