In this critical role, you will be the guardian of quality, ensuring that all electrical installations meet international standards, safety protocols, and client specifications for complex engineering projects.
You will play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, from initial site inspection to final commissioning. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) plans specifically for electrical engineering systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings, and relevant safety codes.
- Manage the inspection and testing of all electrical equipment, including cabling, switchgear, distribution boards, and grounding systems.
- Review material submittals and ensure all electrical components utilized on-site meet predefined quality and certification standards.
- Maintain detailed QA/QC documentation, including test reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and snag lists to ensure full traceability.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to identify potential quality issues early and implement effective corrective/preventive actions.
- Oversee electrical testing and commissioning activities, verifying that systems function optimally before handover.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or engineering industry, preferably in high-tech or industrial projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian electrical regulations (ST) and international standards (IEC, IEEE).
- Proven ability to interpret complex electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Proficient in MS Office and construction project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead on-site quality discussions and handle inspections.
- Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or equivalent professional body is highly preferred.
