Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Technician specializing in In-Process Quality Assurance, Material Review Board (MRB), and Non-Conformance Material Report (NCMR) management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. This position involves 12-hour rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough in-process inspections to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Lead the MRB process, evaluating non-conforming materials and determining appropriate dispositions (Rework, Scrap, Use-As-Is).
- Generate, track, and close NCMRs in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in internal and external quality audits.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
Requirements:
- Diploma or NITEC in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
- At least 1 year of experience as a QA Technician in a manufacturing setting.
- Hands-on experience with MRB, NCMR, and In-Process quality control is highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Comfortable working in a 12-hour shift schedule (Day/Night or Rotating).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
