Baldo Construction and Development Corporation, a premier general contractor in the Philippines recognized for delivering exceptional residential, commercial, and institutional projects, is actively seeking a meticulous and highly competent QAQC Engineer (Civil, Structural, Architectural) to join our core team in Ortigas, Metro Manila.
As a pivotal member of our project management team, you will be the champion of quality across all civil, structural, and architectural disciplines. Your primary focus will be to ensure strict conformance to project specifications, quality standards, and mandatory regulatory requirements mandated by the DPWH and local government units. You will lead the development of comprehensive Quality Management Systems (QMS), conduct rigorous site inspections, manage testing protocols, and ensure that every deliverable meets our client's exacting standards.
We are looking for a proactive professional with a deep understanding of construction methodologies. You must be capable of working autonomously while being a strong team player, effectively communicating quality requirements to subcontractors and site personnel. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for all civil, structural, and architectural works.
- Conduct regular and rigorous site inspections, material testing, and work inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements to verify technical compliance before submission to the Engineer.
- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and submit detailed QAQC reports, including daily inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and punch lists.
- Monitor the calibration of all testing and measuring equipment used on site.
- Assist in the preparation of project close-out documentation, including as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals.
- Ensure strict integration of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards into quality processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) — Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in QAQC for building and infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Philippine construction standards, DPWH specifications, and the National Building Code.
- Proven experience in handling QAQC documentation, reporting, and close-out procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration and stakeholder reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) and QAQC software tools.
- Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Metro Manila, and conduct regular field work across various project sites.
