In this role, you will be the guardian of our product integrity, ensuring that every batch leaving our facility meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
As a QC Chemist, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing sophisticated laboratory equipment to conduct rigorous testing on raw materials and finished goods. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine physical and chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure all test data is recorded in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation (e.g., pH meters, titrators, spectrometers).
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Prepare standard solutions, reagents, and samples for analytical testing.
- Monitor environmental conditions within the laboratory and production areas to ensure standard compliance.
- Collaborate with the production team to streamline quality checkpoints and reduce operational waste.
- Participate in internal audits and support the preparation of quality reports for management review.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science discipline.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control or laboratory environment within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong working knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory safety protocols.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for data management and reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems is considered a distinct advantage.
