Reckitt is seeking a meticulous and dedicated QFS Microbiologist for a 6-month contract position based in Tuas, West Region. In this critical role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality and safety of our nutritional products, contributing to our mission of providing consumers with the highest standard of health and wellness solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in microbiology testing and quality assurance within a manufacturing or food production environment. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting and possess excellent attention to detail. This role requires someone who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and regulatory departments.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished nutritional products
- Conduct environmental monitoring and sampling to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures and results in accordance with cGMP requirements
- Investigate and report any microbiological deviations or out-of-specification findings
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and expertise
- Contribute to the development and improvement of microbiological testing procedures and protocols
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Chemistry, or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in microbiological testing within a food, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods manufacturing environment
- Proficient knowledge of microbiological testing methods including plate counts, pathogen detection, and environmental sampling
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000)
- Experience working with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
