We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QMS Manager to lead our Quality Management System division at our cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Kulim, Kedah.
In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001. You will drive a culture of quality excellence, manage certification bodies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to meet ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external quality audits, managing non-conformities and driving effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Oversee the document control system, ensuring all quality documents, procedures, and records are properly managed, updated, and accessible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Supply Chain) to integrate quality standards into product lifecycle and operational processes.
- Manage the customer complaint handling process, utilizing 8D, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and statistical tools to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and recommending actions to enhance quality performance.
- Lead the management review process, preparing detailed reports and strategic recommendations for senior management.
- Mentor, train, and develop the QMS team to enhance their competencies and build a robust quality culture.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing environment (battery, electronics, or automotive industry experience is highly preferred).
- Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 is required; IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification is a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) and problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 8D, DMAIC).
- Proven experience in managing regulatory and customer audits successfully.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; fluency in Mandarin is a plus for interacting with global stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
