Syntiant is a leading developer of high-performance neural processing units (NPUs) that are revolutionizing the edge AI market. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced QMS Section Head to lead our Quality Management System initiatives in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Perai, Penang. As the QMS Section Head, you will serve as the guardian of quality standards across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of quality awareness. This role requires a hands-on leader who can translate complex quality requirements into actionable processes and mentor a team of quality professionals.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Conduct internal quality audits and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformities effectively.
- Define and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to drive process excellence and reduce scrap/rework rates.
- Manage supplier quality processes, including incoming material inspections and supplier audits, to ensure material integrity.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations for product and process deviations using tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
- Train and mentor quality staff and production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing to ensure quality is designed into products from the ground up.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Quality Management role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
- Proven experience in managing supplier quality and internal audit programs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
