We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assistant Manager to oversee production procedures and ensure our Low Voltage (LV) switchboard manufacturing processes meet the highest quality and efficiency standards. In this critical role, you will be the guardian of our product excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring total compliance with international electrical safety standards. You will lead quality inspection teams, analyze non-conformance data, and collaborate with production engineers to optimize our manufacturing lifecycle in our Senai facility.
This position is ideal for a proactive quality professional with a deep technical understanding of LV switchgear, electrical distribution systems, and ISO quality management systems. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for reliability and safety in the electrical engineering sector.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and supervise the quality inspection team in daily QC operations for LV switchboards.
- Implement and maintain rigorous Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Analyze product development procedures to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on product non-conformities and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure all manufactured switchboards comply with local and international electrical safety regulations and client specifications.
- Perform regular audits of production lines and supply chain quality benchmarks.
- Prepare comprehensive quality performance reports for senior management to drive data-informed decision-making.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the LV switchboard or electrical manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of LV switchboard testing standards (e.g., IEC 61439).
- Proficiency in ISO 9001 implementation, internal auditing, and quality documentation.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using statistical process control (SPC) tools.
- Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay; ability to articulate complex technical issues effectively.
