We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team based in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust Quality Assurance systems across our manufacturing, central kitchen, supply chain, and logistics divisions. You will play a critical role in safeguarding the 4Fingers brand by ensuring every product that reaches our customers meets the highest possible standards of safety, quality, and consistency. Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead a team of QA professionals, manage supplier quality audits, and drive continuous improvement projects that result in measurable operational excellence.

  • Lead internal and external audit processes (customer, certification body, regulatory).
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Manage food safety incidents and customer complaints, driving root cause analysis and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, R&D) to ensure seamless quality integration.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 22000, HACCP, and GMP standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Assurance team to ensure consistent application of standards across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and manage external audits by certification bodies, customers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage supplier approval and performance monitoring programs, including conducting supplier audits and driving corrective actions.
  • Drive the investigation and resolution of food safety incidents and customer complaints using root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA methodologies.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to ensure quality parameters are met for new product launches and process changes.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on quality KPIs (complaint rates, audit scores, non-conformances) to senior management.
  • Ensure full compliance with Malaysian food laws (Food Act 1983, Food Hygiene Regulations 2009) and relevant international standards.

Kualifikasi

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the Food & Beverage or Manufacturing industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, with proven team leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and HALAL assurance systems.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing internal and external quality audits.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Self-starter with a passion for food safety, attention to detail, and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Certification in WSQ, PCQI, or similar Food Safety leadership programs is highly advantageous.
