Harwin Asia, a global leader in high-reliability connector manufacturing, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ang Mo Kio. This role is critical to maintaining the superior quality of our innovative interconnect solutions used extensively in the aerospace, defense, industrial, and motorsport sectors. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement and maintain robust quality control procedures. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you perform root cause analysis on defects and develop effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). You will be responsible for leading internal and external quality audits against ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 14001 standards, managing customer complaints, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and inspection checklists for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Perform regular inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods against defined specifications.
- Lead and support internal and external quality audits to ensure continuous compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Collaborate with product and process engineering teams during new product introductions (NPI) to ensure robust quality plans (APQP, PPAP).
- Oversee the calibration system for all inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IMTE) to ensure accurate results.
- Analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) tools and present findings to drive process improvements and reduce defect rates.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, managing complaint investigations and facilitating effective communication and resolution.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance capacity within a manufacturing environment (electronics, precision engineering, or connector manufacturing is highly advantageous).
- Strong practical knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems; direct experience with AS9100 (Aerospace) or IATF 16949 is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in quality core tools including FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, and APQP.
- Hands-on experience with standard inspection equipment (e.g., micrometers, callipers, CMM, vision measurement systems) and the ability to read and interpret complex technical engineering drawings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001 / AS9100) certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
