CAVATER SDN BHD is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer (Software Tester) to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. In this role, you will be the final line of defense, ensuring that our software solutions are not only functional but deliver a seamless and high-quality user experience.
As a key member of our engineering department, you will bridge the gap between development and end-user satisfaction. You will be responsible for defining test strategies, executing rigorous testing protocols, and advocating for quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who enjoys working in an agile environment and is committed to continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute manual and automated testing to identify software defects, regressions, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to troubleshoot issues and define quality standards.
- Document and track bug reports through to resolution using industry-standard project management tools.
- Conduct functional, non-functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product stability.
- Monitor and analyze release performance to provide feedback for future development cycles.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and bug-tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Python, or Java).
- Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and communication skills to convey complex issues clearly.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.
