We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join the dynamic team at Cush.Cush Gallery in Denpasar Barat, Bali. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards by inspecting products, identifying defects, and ensuring that every item meets our rigorous quality specifications before it reaches our customers.
Your primary focus will be to oversee the production process, from raw material inspection to the final product check. You will collaborate closely with production staff to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing workflows. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished furniture/handicraft items to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately using quality control logs and report any non-conformities to the production supervisor immediately.
- Verify dimensions, finishes, and structural integrity of products to ensure they meet design requirements and brand standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to diagnose root causes of quality issues and recommend or implement corrective measures.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area, ensuring all necessary tools and safety equipment are available.
- Participate in regular quality meetings to discuss trends, feedback, and strategies for enhancing overall product quality.
- Train junior staff on proper quality assurance techniques and inspection protocols when required.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in manufacturing, woodworking, or design is a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field within the furniture or handicraft industry.
- Excellent visual acuity and attention to detail with the ability to spot even minor imperfections.
- Basic understanding of furniture construction techniques and material properties.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia to effectively liaise with international and local teams.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and basic computer skills for data entry.
