We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer (Plastic Injection Moulding) to join our team in Gelang Patah, Johor. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and inspect plastic injection moulding processes to ensure strict compliance with quality specifications and ISO standards.
- Analyze production data and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to identify trends and prevent defects.
- Conduct internal quality audits and coordinate with external bodies to maintain certification requirements.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues (NCRs) using root cause analysis techniques such as Fishbone and 5 Whys.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and inspection reports.
- Liaise with suppliers to evaluate raw material quality and ensure suitability for injection moulding applications.
- Train production staff on quality standards and best practices to minimize scrap and rework rates.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Quality Engineering within the plastics or manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, materials, and tooling.
- Proficiency in quality management tools such as Minitab, JMP, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audit processes.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex quality issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
