We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Quality Inspector / 质量检验员 to join our growing operations in Klang/Port Klang, Selangor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive inspection of components throughout the entire manufacturing lifecycle. From incoming raw materials to finished goods ready for shipment, your keen eye for detail and expertise in precision measurement will directly uphold our reputation for excellence. You will leverage state-of-the-art metrology equipment, including CMMs, calipers, and micrometers, to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance to strict engineering specifications and GD&T standards.

- Enforce rigorous quality control standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Conduct detailed inspections and thorough documentation within the QMS (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying non-conformances and collaborating with cross-functional teams on root cause analysis and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and process capability assessments (CpK) for new and modified products.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and zero defects within the automotive quality framework.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with strict quality standards and engineering specifications.
- Utilize advanced precision measuring instruments including CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface roughness testers to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Document inspection results meticulously, generate detailed quality reports, and maintain traceable records within the QMS (IATF 16949 / ISO 9001).
- Identify non-conformances, segregate defective materials, and lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone techniques to implement effective CAPA.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Engineering teams to monitor process controls and drive continuous improvement (Kaizen, Six Sigma).
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and perform process capability studies (CpK/PpK) for new product introductions and specification changes.
- Participate actively in internal and external quality audits to ensure ongoing certification compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and quality training to operators and production staff to foster a quality-conscious culture.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience as a Quality Inspector within the automotive, heavy vehicle, or precision manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid working knowledge of quality core tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP) and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why).
- Hands-on experience with inspection equipment such as CMM (Zeiss/Mitutoyo), profile projectors, hardness testers, and surface roughness testers.
- Certification in quality disciplines (e.g., Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, CQI, CSWIP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage for supplier and customer liaison.
