We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance initiatives for our metal fabrication operations in Nibong Tebal, Penang. In this critical role, you will oversee the entire quality control lifecycle, ensuring that our manufacturing processes and final products meet stringent industry standards and customer specifications.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust Quality Management Systems (QMS), conducting rigorous audits, and driving continuous improvement across the production floor. We value precision and excellence, and we are looking for a leader who can mentor staff, resolve non-conformities effectively, and ensure compliance with ISO standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) tailored to metal fabrication processes.
- Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality policies.
- Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor production personnel on quality control techniques and best practices.
- Liaise with suppliers to verify incoming material quality and specifications.
- Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and drive resolution strategies with relevant departments.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or assurance within the metal fabrication/manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality control methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid professional certification in quality management (e.g., CQA, CQE) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to deadlines.
